Active Ageing Strategy Consultation

The Active Ageing Strategy for Northern Ireland was launched on 21st February 2014 for public consultation.

"To ensure that our society embraces an ageing population, plans need to be put in place now. We need to have a positive society for people of all ages regardless of their circumstances where everyone’s rights are respected and people can live free from discrimination. This strategy is not just about what the Executive plans to do for older people today – it challenges all of us to think about the kind of life we want to be leading in the future.

The consultation document is available on the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister Website at www.ofmdfmni.gov.uk/age. A consultation questionnaire was completed at www.surveymonkey.com/s/ActiveAgeingConsultation by the Hon. Sec. on behalf of the NI Branch of CSPA.

Hard copies of the both the Consultation Document and the Questionnaire can be requested using the contact details below.
